Run your own book club with the help of the Library's Book Club Kits! Each kit contains a Library bag packed with nine paperback copies and one audiobook edition of a popular title, along with discussion guides and book club resource information. Availability of the kits is on a first-come, first-served basis. Kits are available for browsing at the Main Library or can be sent to a Library branch upon request. Check out a book club kit today!
Book Buzz — Utah State Library's book club lending program — lends book sets to book clubs, book groups, libraries, organizations, schools, and community centers. Book sets contain 15 books that check out for 56 days (8 weeks). Reservations can be made up to one year in advance.
NOTE: Book Buzz is managed by Utah State Library; this process will direct you away from slcpl.org. The City Library is not responsible for content maintained by external websites.
To Request a Book Club Set from Book Buzz:
1. Choose a Title
2. Check Availability of the desired title on Utah State Library's Book Buzz Calendar
3. Request a Title via this Google Form.
NOTE: You may request to have the Book Club Set sent to any City Library location for pickup. As indicated previously, form submissions will be directed to the Utah State Library, not The City Library.
